Common questions about working with Cavefish

How long does it take from first contact to pilot start?

Typically 2–4 weeks from initial contact to pilot start — the main variable is internal procurement and legal review. The discovery call, commercial agreement and governance documentation can all be completed within a week on our side.

What do we need to provide for the pilot?

Content to analyse (video, audio, text or images), a defined use case and question you want EchoDepth to answer, and sign-off on the Data Processing Agreement. We handle the rest.

What happens to our data during a pilot?

Your content is processed within UK infrastructure. It is not retained beyond the analysis period (30 days maximum), is not used to train any model, and is not shared with any third party. You receive the full output and then it is deleted. A full DPA is signed before any content is shared.

Can we start with one use case and expand?

Yes — this is the most common path. Most organisations begin with a single high-value use case, prove the ROI through the pilot, then expand to additional use cases in the enterprise deployment phase.

Do you work with organisations outside the UK?

Yes. We have worked with organisations in the EU and US. UK GDPR and standard contractual clauses cover EU processing. US engagements are handled case by case depending on sector and data residency requirements.
